The market takes place every Saturday directly opposite from Carriageworks (see previous blog post). Held in a covered space this market is a local institution where artisan farmers and makers sell their products. There are numerous stalls from flowers, fresh produce, meat, bakery, cold brew coffee, arts and crafts – you’ll find something to tantalise your taste buds.
Under the iron-clad roof you'll find farmers and makers interacting with consumers and buyers - a dynamic relationship where both parties chat, explain, demonstrate, consume and benefit from the weekly encounter. There are also chairs where you can sit down to relax and savour the mouth-watering variety of food you bought at the market and enjoy the atmosphere of the market.
Spending a Saturday morning in one of Sydney's best farmers markets is one of must-do activities if you are visiting the most populous Australian city.
