I visited Iceland for the first time in November 2016 over a long weekend. It was enough to give me an introduction to the beautiful landscape of Iceland. During this short visit I explored Iceland's south coast.
The landscape is vast, the weather was cold and bleak and yet there is certain je ne sais quoi about the place. I was feeling inspired and awe at the same time. When our tour bus made stops along the route the stunning and dramatic landscape greeted me. Each time I stood there taking in the scenery I felt peace and connection to this desolate land.
